U.S. Tank Mechanics WWII
Modeling the U.S. Army in WWII

This pair is cobbled together from previous sets. The seated soldier wears buckled shoepacs for cold weather, and the woolen jeep cap. He holds some vague mechanical part. A wrench is provided for him to hold in his other hand.

The standing mechanic wears coveralls (though no fly is depicted). His head harkens back to the earliest of Verlinden's 54mm figure sets, and you might want to find something more in scale and expressive. He too holds some sort of engine part in his hand. and the ubiquitous .45 pistol, ammo pouch, and canteen are the accessories. All parts are cleanly cast, but there are a couple of the usual mold plugs to remove.

As they say, it is what it is, and while not very inspiring it was the right price on sale.
