Maybe it's just me, but I get a "Sgt. Saunders" feeling from this guy. All he needs is the camo helmet cover and Caje and Little John standing behind him! Sculptor John Rosengrant has given him a nice realistic pose, his torso turned to the left toward something that seems to have drawn his attention. He wears the 1941 field jacket, trousers, and the M-1944 shoe pac, which was introduced in numbers later in the winter of 1944-45. On his back is the M-1936 musette bag and a five-magazine pocket for his M1A1 Thompson submachine gun. A thin resin sling is provided on a carrier for the Tommy gun; use a new hobby knife blade to separate this fragile piece. The officer is also armed with a separate .45 pistol.

Construction is simple after quick cleaning of some flash. The figure scales under 6' and should "play well" with others.
