Modeling the U.S. Army in WWII

MK35
F009

This character has a curious pose. He stands with his left hand on his hip, and his right arm is stretched in front of him. The separate hand has it’s thumb extended, and while the package photo shows him giving a thumbs down sign, one could reverse it and do a thumb’s up. This guy is a scruffy soldier, probably more accurate in overall looks than most on the market. His trousers have the large cargo pockets on the hip, and a patch on one knee. He wears a rumpled khaki jacket (the front pockets are cut a bit too high) and a scarf, so he’s definitely working in cooler weather. He has no web gear, but carries a canteen slung from the belt under his jacket. The sculpting is good, and the pieces are clean. Assembly consists of the body, a hand, a head and the canteen. The figure scales out less than 6’. With his curious pose, he may be intended to be aiding someone with vehicle problems (perhaps the two MK 1/35 figures in overcoats). Or you could replace his hand with another to hold a bottle or some other object.
