Modeling the U.S. Army in WWII

Italeri, 354
Testor, 847
Heller ???

This kit is made up of two separately sold sets, variously marketed as Medical Corps and Radio Team. If you see this kit in any of its permutations, slowly back away and call the authorities. It's a bomb.

Well, you could maybe salvage the hand that holds the phone, and some scrawny arms in rolled up shirtsleeves. Otherwise, these figures seem to be in some sort of post-WWII world. One person suggested they might be French infantry in IndoChina, and perhaps were originally molded by Heller. The uniforms certainly are not GI issue for WWII.

I bought these for my son when he was eight or nine, and even he turned them down!
